- What does the photo checker test?
- The photo shape and pixel size, the file size and format, whether one face is found, head size and eye-line position where the rules publish them, whether the face is centred, and lighting, sharpness and background.
- Is my photo uploaded?
- No. The check runs entirely in your browser, including face detection.
- My photo failed. Can I fix it?
- Use the link under the results to open the matching photo tool. It crops to the exact size and head position and shows a free preview.
- If the checker passes, will my photo be accepted?
- Not guaranteed. The checks are automatic estimates, and officials also look at expression, glasses, shadows and how recent the photo is.
